Dry January Special 2025 - Who is Performing ?

Next month at The London Alcohol-Free Comedy Club , we welcome this Top Line-Up of comedians for the Dry January Special event in London .

On Sunday 26th January 3.30pm at BackYard Comedy Club, we welcome back Mr Mark Dolan, who actually hosted our first ever Alcohol-Free Show in 2018 in Essex. Mark will be a familiar face from the TV, most noticeably as the host of ‘Balls of Steel’. Mark now hosts his own show on GB News.

Opening the show at this London Alcohol-Free event we welcome the high energy humour of the one and only Mr Paul Pirie. His hilarity and comedic ability has earned him huge popularity with comedy goers and bookers across the world, gigging as far abroad as Australia and for diverse audiences such as The Armed Forces. Pauls work is superbly individual and put simply, delivers a refreshing burst of laugh out loud comedy that leaves audiences in raptures.

After the first interval we then welcome one of our favourite female comedians Michelle Shaughnessy. Originally based in Toronto Michelle Shaughnessy fast made a name for herself across North America. She’s had numerous appearances on television and her debut album “You Know What You Did” hit number one on the iTunes comedy charts. Her acting work has been featured on Hulu, Amazon Prime and Netflix. Newly based in London Michelle is becoming a firm favourite all over the UK.

Then to close the show we welcome to the London Alcohol-Free Comedy Stage Mark Simmons. Mark is an exceptional one-liner comedian. It won him a place in Dave’s prestigious Best Joke of The Fringe in Edinburgh. Mark was also voted the UK’s Comic’s Comic award from his peers. On TV Mark has appeared on Mock the Week. Behold for an afternoon of slide splitting laughter, with this quick amazing comedic mind.
