Raver To Runner !

Sober IS Fun was established back in 2018 by Martyn Davies, with the aim to provide high quality entertainment , in a environment free from alcohol..  The London Alcohol-Free Comedy Club was launched in 2019, and now takes place at the BackYard Comedy Club in Bethnal Green London.

You may not be aware, but founder Martyn started running in 2018 to help him with his own Mental Health & personal development journey. In the words of Martyn – ‘ I couldn’t run a bath pre 2018 & and now look at me with two half marathon under my belt! ‘

Next year Martyn is taking on the ultimate challenge in his running career, The 2025 London Marathon. Martyn is running as part of team ‘Break the Cycle’ for The Forward Trust. The Forward Trust do amazing work, helping support people to free them from addiction. The Forward Trust believe that everyone can live a fulfilling life, whatever their past. If you’re affected by drug or alcohol issues, past offending, homelessness or unemployment: help is out there! ‘

This is a charity very close to Martyn’s heart.
